The CFDF Development Conference held in Beijing on June 9th which announced that the 103rd China Food & Drinks Fair (CFDF) will be held from October 13th to 15th at Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan. All preparations are now fully activated.

The planned exhibition area of the 103rd CFDF is 110,000 sqm which made by 8 indoor exhibition halls and Phase II outdoor venues and distributed as 7 exhibition areas, respectively dedicated to traditional alcohol, wine and spirits, food and beverages, condiments and ingredients, food machinery, food packaging and Shandong products area. Thousands of food and alcohol enterprises will bring tens of thousands of products to come to Jinan in October for sharing this grand fair.

Beginning in 1955, CFDF is one of the large-scale professional exhibitions in China which has longest history. It has become a far-reaching exhibition platform in China's food and alcohol industry. This will be the third time that CFDF is held in Jinan, a city that remained good memories with exhibitors in 2005 and 2010.

Jinan, sitting in the pivotal joint of the Bohai Rim Economic Belt and the Beijing-Shanghai Economic Axis, is an important hub of transportation and economy. Shandong Province, well known by sound food industry and market, accommodates over 5,500 food enterprises above designated size. As of 2018, the total operating income, profit and export of its food industry topped the country for 26 years. Besides, the Province contributes 10% of China’s total retail sales of consumer goods, implying a huge consumer market for the food industry. In recent years, Jinan has adopted a series of policies and measures in favor of the exhibition industry. In 2019, 196 exhibitions were held, covering the total exhibition area of 3 million sqm which showed excellent exhibition environment.
